Really good Dining Experience

I had the pleasure of enjoying both dinner and breakfast during my stay, and they were absolutely delicious. The meals were served in private rooms, making it a more intimate experience. I appreciated the variety of both traditional Japanese and Western options. Notably, they were very accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions, which made the meal even more enjoyable.

Relaxing Onsen Facilities

The public bath facilities were a highlight of my stay. There was a comforting indoor bath, as well as a small outdoor bath that felt refreshing. I especially enjoyed the sauna and cold bath, which really enhanced my relaxation experience. Perfect after a long day of exploring!

Stunning Lake View Room

We had a great stop at Shinyu while breaking up our long drive back to Tokyo. The hotel is newly renovated and offers a lovely modern spa vibe. Our room was a traditional Japanese-style tatami room with a fantastic view of the lake. The dining was exceptional for both dinner and breakfast, and the service was the real highlight as the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter's food allergies. While the building may have some minor imperfections, the overall experience was wonderful.
